Yassine TAHA is an Assistant Professor at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P, Morocco). Graduated from the University of Quebec (UQAT, Canada) and Cadi Ayyad University (UCA, Morocco). He spent two years as a post-doctoral fellow at the Research Institute on Mines and Environment of the University of Quebec and later at the department of Materials Science and Nano-engineering of the UM6P. His research interests revolve around mine of the future, phosphate sustainable mining, mine waste management and valorization, development of high-value added materials based on industrial solid wastes, resource recovery and low-grade ore beneficiation, low carbon footprint materials for construction, life cycle assessment and circular economy. He has authored/co-authored over 20 articles and participated to more than 20 scientific conferences.
