Khalid OUFDOU is a full professor (grade C) at Cadi Ayyad University. He supervised 13 PhD theses, 04 ongoing supervised Doctorate, and published more than 70 publications with high impact factors. He developed more than 20 research projects with Spain, France, Germany, Tunisia, Portugal, Sweden (3 IFS grants) and the European Union. He was awarded by the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD Germany: 3 months fellowship) and by the Alexander von Humboldt foundation (AvH Germany: 8 months fellowship). He was the chair of the first edition (02-05 November 2009: MICROBIOD 1) and the second edition (02-04 October 2012: MICROBIOD 2) of the International congress: “Microbial Biotechnologies for Development” (www.ucam.ac.ma/microbiona). He was the founder and President of the Moroccan Association of Biotechnologies and Protection of Natural Resources (MICROBIONA) from 2009 to 2013. He is an affiliated professor at UM6P (ESAFE-AgroBiosciences). He is an elected member of the scientific committee of Faculty of Sciences, Semlalia, Cadi Ayyad University (2018-2020). He is a scientific expert of the CNRST (Centre National pour la Recherche Scientifique et Technique, Morocco) (2019-2022).
