Biography

Artem has a multidisciplinary background in Economics, Engineering and Environmental Science, and 20 years’ experience in the minerals industry and academia. His major research interests include mining and metal waste reuse and recycling, mined land rehabilitation, climate change and mining, sustainable regional development, as well as introducing and application of the circular economy principles and ideas within the resources sector. He is currently Research Fellow at the Centre for Mined Land Rehabilitation, Sustainable Minerals Institute (SMI), The University of Queensland, Australia.
