After his graduation in Architecture at the Faculty of Genoa (in 1998), with a thesis on Teaching of Urban Planning in the European Schools of Architecture, he began his research and teaching activities. In 2005, he got his doctorate (PhD) at the School of Engineering of Genoa, with a thesis on the Governance of ports planning and waterfronts regeneration projects. Its areas of research, investigation covered the topics of urban analysis and urban regeneration projects management, with specific focus on the quality of public space; in the framework of national and international research projects, funded by private companies as well as by the European Union, mains topics was in the fields of urban mobility, cities-infrastructures design & management, infrastructure environment impact. As a professional, he has gained great experience in hospital design; he’s also senior expert in real estate finance and urban regeneration projects financial arrangement.
