About This Conference
Phosphate Research Network (PhoResNet) gathers national and international scientists and industrials working on phosphates and derivatives.
One of the main objectives of PhoResNet is to promote research in the field of phosphate and its derivatives and to create synergies between university researchers and industry.
In this context, PhoResNet organizes a biannual conference “International Conference for Research on Phosphates and Derivatives” ( Phosphate Days ) that provides a unique setting and space to bring together scientists and engineers, from all over the world to exchange new findings and develop collaborations and partnerships.
During this conference, a special session will be dedicated to young researchers (PhDs, Post Docs, Engineers) offering them an opportunity to present early results of their research. Special awards will be accorded to distinguished young candidates, in recognition for their significant work. The selection will be made by an international jury.
Phosphate Days 2018 welcomes scientific contributions from one or more of the following topics:

Abstract Submission
If you would like to present a paper, please submit a short abstract in English, of no more than one page , to PhosohateDays@phoresnet.org by the end of June 2018. If accepted, you will be asked to submit a full paper before the start of the conference. The articles will form the unrefereed proceedings, which will be available to all delegates on a USB memory stick at the conference.
The copyright of the published papers will continue to belong to the individual authors, and not to PhoResNet.
A selection of papers will be published in a special issue of an influential journal, which name will be revealed in an upcoming communication. The concerned authors will be asked to resend their final version to the journal for the refereeing process no later than one month after the conference end.
Author and Presenter Information
This conference does not require you to follow a standard template for your presentations. However, we would appreciate you complying with the following general guidelines:
All presentations should be prepared using PowerPoint, version 2003 or higher.
Keynote speeches are scheduled for 30 minutes each, 25 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion.
Regular presentations are scheduled for 20 minutes each, 15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion.
Please email your PPT at PhosphateDays@phoresnet.org by September . When submitting your PPT, please also attach a short bio of the presenter for introduction purpose.
You are allowed to use company logos in your PPT design, but the presentation should be purely technical – No commercials/advertisements, please!
You may use short video clips during your presentation solely for the purpose of illustrating or explaining the working principle of something that you have been describing in your lecture. These clips should not last for more than 120 seconds in total and may not be accompanied by any kind of sound track. Again, no promotional video presentations are allowed.
Financial aid
PhD students who do not have financial support for their research could apply for registration fees exemption to attend “Young Researchers Days” and “the International Conference for Research on Phosphates and Derivatives”.
