There has been a growing interest of scientists in research related to phosphates and phosphorus compounds. This interest has been driven by many factors such food security and preservation of resources, development of new materials (biomaterials, batteries, catalysis, water treatment…), synthesis of new phosphorus compounds (medicines, surfactants…), fertilizer formulation and efficiency, etc.
Because of the importance of the research community and diversification of fields related to phosphate, we took the initiative to create the “Phosphates Research Network” (PhoResNet). The main objectives of PhoResNet are:
- To strengthen scientific exchanges between researchers
- To have the opportunity to network and update knowledge and understanding related to their research fields.
- To provide a forum for discussing, analyzing and responding to the emerging and “over the horizon” challenges that will be facing phosphate industry.
